Community Nominations: Turning Dreams Into Action

See the good. Support the dream. Multiply the impact.

At the Embassy of Benevolence, we believe every community is filled with hidden sparks — people with ideas, passions, and needs that, when supported, can uplift many others. Our Community Nominations program creates a simple way to recognize these individuals and give them the tools to flourish.

A Vision for Israel

In Israel, where resilience and creativity are part of our national identity, Community Nominations allow us to re-center everyday people as the builders of hope. By highlighting neighbors with dreams — from those who read to children, to those who grow food, to those who bring healing arts — we honor the deep connection between people, land, and purpose.

Why It Matters

  • Strengthens community identity. Research shows that when individuals are supported, their impact spreads — improving trust, cooperation, and civic pride.

  • Improves well-being. Simple acts of recognition and support reduce isolation and increase mental health, belonging, and resilience.

  • Plants seeds for the future. A small investment today can grow into a long-lasting community initiative tomorrow.

How It Works

  1. Nominate
Anyone can nominate a neighbor, teacher, caregiver, or community member who is quietly making a difference or carrying a dream.

  2. Discover & Listen
We connect with the nominee, hear their story, and identify a meaningful next step toward their goal.

  3. Gift + Mentor
We provide a small grant, resources, or in-kind support, and connect them with a mentor who can guide them forward.

  4. Community Impact
Each project is celebrated locally — inspiring others, strengthening bonds, and creating ripples of change.
